Numeric Entry Into A Textbox

It's some while since I submitted code for Numeric Entry Into A Textbox (and I can't find it in the forum). However, I have produced an update, which Is submitted below. Basically, the routine allows a textbox to be opened and the user can then enter only the characters 0-9 and - (comma) and . (deci...

Re: testing

Richard Sorry, I didn't notice your post. I have downloaded the LBB file and installed it. I did get a warning of a virus, but I checked it and got the all-clear before I installed it. I have run a few of my programs with it - all successfully. I've also proxies an exec file from one of them, again ...

Re: testing

Richard I thought about responding from the LBB site, but since the matter was brought up on the BBC Basic forum I decided to respond from there. Wrong decision! So, my offer to help still stands, so if you still want to go ahead with the testing could you give me links to the updated LBB and the te...

testing

Richard On the BBC Basic forum [url]https://www.bbcbasic.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&p=4837#p4837[url] you stated that you had an updated version of LBB, but couldn't issue it because it required intensive testing. I offered to help with the testing. Have you had any further thought on the mat...

Re: 'include filename.bas

I believe the LBW download is still available on Alyce's site. The problem seems to be browser based, a casual click gets ignored. On my iMac I need to Command Click to get the download started and I also need to Allow downloads from her site. Nanny state again. I know it is different for Windows, ...

Re: 'include filename.bas

I'm sorry to hear about LB Workshop no longer downloadable. I've tried it myself with no joy. Fortunately, I have kept a copy of the zip file that I downloaded for LBW. In regards to a help file for LBW, I have produced my own bespoke help file, which incorporates help files for LB4.5, LB Companion,...

Re: 'include filename.bas

So I clicked on Help in the LBB IDE (which I use rarely - I use LB Workshop) and here is the result Can’t reach this page Make sure the web address http://bb4w.wikispaces.com is correct Search for this site on Bing Refresh the page My copy of LBB is 2 or 3 years old and I'm not aware of any updates,...

Re: 'include filename.bas

I hear what you say, but it is confusing if the Manual and the Programmer's Reference don't agree. Are you saying that we should ignore the manual and use the Programmer's Reference? I'd be quite happy with that, although my normal first step would be to go to the Manual. LB 5! It's progressing, but...

Re: 'include filename.bas

The difference seems to be where you tried to access the Wiki. I accessed it from the link to the Manual, where clicking on 'include provides a description of its use and includes the following text See this Wiki article for more information , where Wiki is a link (unfortunately not reproduced here)...

Re: 'include filename.bas

I think that covers the ground that there Wiki would have done. It is the Wiki: nothing was lost when Conforums and Wikispaces closed, the content was all safely moved to new homes. The reason I referred to the Wiki was because there is a link to it on three LB Booster page, which is dead. I think ...
