!SOUND

Is the BBC Basic command !SOUND available in LBB? If so, would you provide an example snippet.

Re: Help Files

Thank you, "guest". :) Would you update the proc for 5.1 when you have a chance, and let us know.

Help Files

Would some kind soul tell me again how to convert a HLP file to CHM. I searched the old forum archive, but couldn't find the thread with the procedure.

Thanks,
Jack

Left Border of Editor Window

Richard, is it possible to make the left border of the editor window a bit wider, so the right-leaning cursor is easier to position for selecting all of a line with a single click?

Thanks,
Jack

Text Entry Cursor stops blinking

I know this is a Windows question, but I can't find any solution there. The cursor in the IDE edit window (and many other text editing programs) stops blinking after a few seconds of inactivity. How can I make it NOT stop blinking, like in Microsoft Word. There it blinks continuously. Can the LBB ID...

Re: Crypt-It

Sorry. I don't understand how I could have messed up the code so badly. And I really thought I had tested it thoroughly! I'd be a much better programmer if I was smarter instead of senile. But version 3 was a major rewrite, and now the code is cleaner and simpler. But not completely simple. let me k...

Hangman

Here's a link to download Hangman, which now uses the word list UNIXDICT. Thank you, Anatoly, for making me aware of this excellent file. I first used the alphabet button array in this program, which I recently used again to good advantage in Crypt-It. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3rbec7h2f3bj49p/Hangm...

To decrypt this you will need to download version 3b, using the link in my original post. The key is the most users ever on-line.

Re: Crypt-It

Good job, Anatoly. But I'm curious about UNIXDICT. Is it a file or app that I can get ahold of and run under Windows? I have a 'Hangman' program that I would love to add dictionary lookups to. Any ideas?

Re: Laser cut visual effect

This code worked perfectly for me, as well as the code posted by Alincon, using LBB 3.10 under Windows 10, on an HP laptop PC.
