Re: Crypt-It
Sorry, Anatoly. I didn't think it would be so difficult. But I wanted to see if you could really get a job at Bletchley Park. It's just a simple sentence in English, but the words are run together, and sent in groups of six. This is the method used by the Germans in WWII, but their Enigma machines e...

Re: MOD speed
You are completely correct, Anatoly, as always! My code had a bug, AND the idea of counting down from the largest possible integer is ridiculous. My revised code counts up from 1, and finds the largest seven digit answer in about three minutes. It can examine all the eight-digit integers (up to 99,9...

Re: MOD speed
Hi Anatoly. Good to talk to you again. Thanks for bringing this topic over to LBB. I hope John won't be too upset. But it got me thinking, and back to coding, which is always good. I putzed around with tests of the MOD method and the INT method and didn't see any significant differences between them...

No bad will was intended. I would never hinder LBB. I have been a big advocate for years.

LBB Downloads
Hi Richard,
Are you able to see how many downloads have been requested after you announce a new release?
Just curious.
